Sam and I went up to mom and dad's for the weekend. We had lots of fun. Sam had the cutest 4th of July dress with little stars and bows. On Saturday we ran some errands and went and bought some of our own fireworks. Which, by the way, have gone way up in price, insane! It rained that afternoon but by that night it has stopped just in time and we found the perfect spot at the end of their neighborhood and parked to watch the fireworks over Lake Loveland. The view was awesome! After watching those we headed back to set off our fireworks. Sam enjoyed watching the sparklers and these little turtle things that we bought but when it came to the ones that made loud crackling sounds she was over it. LOL poor baby we got her calmed down enough to watch our grand finale and then headed into bed. It was a great weekend and July 5th starts our 1 month countdown until Dan comes home!!! YAY!!! We are going out to his graduation and I am so happy! I can't wait to see him and see the place where he has spent his last 5 months.
