Dan's HOME!!!!! YAY!

Finally Dan is home from training! Five months of anticipation had led up to this moment. Sam and I left on Tuesday to head to Missouri. This was the first time she had flown. She did amazing and we got many compliments on how great she was. Once we arrived in Missouri we were hit with the reality of the horrible humidity! EW, why would you live in that? We then rented a car and drove 2 hours down to Ft. Leonard Wood. We stayed at a hotel 2 miles from the base and waited for Wednesday to arrive... On Wednesday we went to a family orientation on base and waited to be reunited with Dan. After a short ceremony we finally had our family back together. It was so wonderful and Sam clung to him ALL day. She totally remembers him and is so happy in his arms. We all spent the rest of the day together and then had to return Dan back for one more night. The next morning we attended graduation and then he was all ours! We did some sightseeing in St. Louis for the rest of the afternoon and then flew back to Colorado that night. It was such a great trip and we had a wonderful time. It is so nice to have him back home!!!!
